Israel’s UN Ambassador Addresses Global Israel Bonds Audience

5/18/2020

Israel’s permanent representative to the UN, Ambassador Danny Danon, addressed a global Israel Bonds audience of over 800 via Zoom and Facebook Live on May 18. Danon, who is concluding his term after five years at the world body, cited the expiring Iranian arms embargo and Hezbollah violations of UN resolution 1701 as Israel’s top diplomatic challenges. He added that Israel’s success in combating the COVID-19 pandemic was “an opportunity for techno-diplomacy, and we will see the results at the UN.”

The event, held under the auspices of the Israel Bonds President’s Club, was an opportunity for Bonds leadership and staff to thank Danon not only for his achievements on the international stage, but also for his passionate advocacy for Israel Bonds. In noting that Israel’s Finance Ministry looks to Israel Bonds as a vital component of its economic stabilization plan, Danon emphasized, “In times of crisis, we see our friends at Israel Bonds helping, and we are grateful for your support.” Show your personal support by investing online at online.israelbonds.com or via the Israel Bonds app.
