This page pertains to investing in Israel bonds online.  

Steps to Investing in Israel Bonds Online

Steps 1 and 2 need only be completed once, after which you can log in and invest in Israel bonds anytime.
 
Step 1: Create Your Online Profile
To invest in Israel bonds online, you will need to set up online access. This registration process will prompt you for basic information including name, date of birth and email address. Your date of birth is required to confirm you are of legal age to invest in Israel bonds. You will also be prompted to create a user ID and password. 
 
Step 2: Apply for an Account or Link Client Account(s) to Your Profile
Following creation of your online profile, you will be able to log in to the Israel Bonds website. The next step is to apply for an Israel Bonds account, or link an existing Israel Bonds account to your profile to make an investment.
 
If you have previously invested in Israel bonds, contact Client Services at 888.519.4111 or client.services@israelbonds.com to link your existing account to your profile. Hours are Monday 9am-5pm; Tuesday-Wednesday 9am-7pm; Thursday 9am-5pm; and Friday 9am-3pm (Eastern Time). 
 
New clients can submit an account application online and, once approved, the new account will automatically be linked to your profile. 
 
Step 3: Start Investing
Once the existing account is linked, or the new account is approved, you will receive email notification that you are now able to invest in Israel bonds online. Simply log into your profile and invest in a bond for your account.

Payment

  • Online investments are debited electronically from the client’s checking account via ACH (Automated Clearing House). Transactions are displayed in checking accounts as ‘State of Israel’ and posted within 3-7 business days. Transactions are secured and encrypted with HTTPS. Credit cards and redemption checks from maturing bonds cannot be used to buy Israel bonds online.
  • Computershare, fiscal agent for the State of Israel, provides confirmation of payment to the purchaser, a confirmation letter to the registered owner (if that person is different than the purchaser), and will mail a book entry notification to the bondholder (or third party if requested) when the bond issues on the issue date.
