Israel Bonds New York Leadership Council Luncheon

The Israel Bonds New York Leadership Council met for a luncheon, attended by more than 20 of New York Region’s most influential leaders, at the Israel Bonds headquarters in Manhattan on January 31, 2018.
 
Gary Jacob, Chairman of the Israel Bonds New York Leadership Council, opened the meeting noting the diversity of the people gathered from all different divisions: real estate, insurance, Wall Street, finance, private equity, electrical, and legal. He went on to discuss the need to reach every segment of the New York economy for wider growth of Israel Bonds.

Andrew Chase, Israel Bonds Executive Director of the New York Region, then described the events and activities of the region, from the real estate, insurance and electrical divisions and their receptions, to Women’s Division and New Leadership. He also spoke of expansion into Wall Street, medical and high-tech divisions.

Stuart Garawitz, Israel Bonds Vice President of National Sales, closed the luncheon with a recap of the two prior Warren Buffett events hosted last year in Omaha and New York City. The two events combined raised over $200 million in bond sales. Elie Hirschfeld of Hirschfeld Properties, who attended both Buffett events, spoke about how informative and transformative the experiences were for him. Stuart went on to speak on the importance of strong lay leadership and active participation, citing this as the main ingredient in the success and growth of Israel Bonds.
