President’s Club Sponsors Global Event with Ambassador Danny Danon

On May 18, in a global event sponsored by Israel Bonds President’s Club, chaired by board member Helene Herbstman, Israel Bonds hosted Ambassador Danny Danon, Israel’s permanent representative to the UN, in which he addressed an international audience of over 800 via Zoom and Facebook Live. Danon, who is concluding his term after five years at the world body, cited the expiring Iranian arms embargo and Hezbollah violations of UN resolution 1701 as Israel’s top diplomatic challenges. He added that Israel’s success in combating the COVID-19 pandemic was “an opportunity for techno-diplomacy, and we will see the results at the UN.”



The event was an opportunity for Bonds leadership and staff to thank Danon not only for his achievements on the international stage, but also for his passionate advocacy for Israel Bonds.
