The Sales Process

Purchasing an Israel bond requires the following steps:

Opening an account
– if you have not opened an Israel Bonds account or have not purchased a bond in at least 36 months, this link will guide you through the process.

Completion of an investment form (individual, IRA or minor) indicating the type of bond to be purchased and bondholder registration information. Be sure to fill out the entire form. (All forms can be completed electronically and must be printed and mailed to the address below for processing. Please also include e-mail if applicable).

In addition, the following information must be provided for each bondholder (if different from the purchaser):

  • Full name
  • Social Security number (if available)
  • Street address
  • E-mail address (optional)

Mail completed forms and a check payable to ‘State of Israel’ to:

State of Israel Bonds
Central Processing Department
575 Lexington Avenue, 11th Floor
New York, NY 10022

(If you are purchasing for your IRA, the check or wire must be drawn from the retirement account.  Funds drawn from a personal bank account will not be accepted in this case.)

A confirmation will be mailed to the purchaser by the Bank of New York Mellon, fiscal agent for your State of Israel Bond(s) once the bond purchase has been processed.
