Highlights From The 27th Israel Conference
February 6-9, 2012
The Rabbinic Cabinet’s 27th Israel Conference, held February 6-9, was a diverse, wide-ranging experience participants labeled ‘a 10 day trip packed into three and a half days.’
Among the highlights:
- Tree planting and celebrating Tu B'shvat with secular and religious students at a school in Modiin
- Touring infrastructure projects including desalination plants and the Jerusalem light rail
- An address by Minister of Energy and Water Resources Uzi Landau
- Driving electric cars at Better Place
- Viewing the latest archeological excavations at the City of David
Delegates agreed the trip provided exceptional new opportunities for connecting their congregants with Israel through Israel Bonds.
