On January 10, Israel Bonds paid tribute to former president & CEO Izzy Tapoohi and his wife Regina for five years of outstanding service to the organization. Izzy, who was president & CEO from 2011- 2016, helped secure sales exceeding $5.2 billion, while Regina played an instrumental role in significantly raising the profile of the Women’s Division.
Chairman of the Board Richard Hirsch noted that “the defining characteristic of both Izzy and Regina is their boundless enthusiasm,” while President & CEO Israel Maimon observed, “The respect and esteem with which they are both viewed can be seen by the large number of Israelis and Bonds leaders who are here to personally offer their thanks and best wishes. “
Among the many individuals paying tribute to the Tapoohis were UN Ambassador Danny Danon, Consul General to New York Ambassador Dani Dayan and Malcolm Hoenlein, executive vice chairman of the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations.
