Richard Hirsch

Richard Hirsch

Richard Hirsch of New York is managing director of Concurrent Industries Group, LLC, a New York-based investment and holding company he formed in 1990. He is former president of the Welbilt Corporation, which he restructured and developed into one of the world's largest manufacturers of food service equipment.

Mr. Hirsch is a founding member of the Fifth Avenue Synagogue, helped establish the Beer Hagolah Institute and supports the Miftan Alon School in Tel Aviv. He is an active supporter of Schneider Children's Hospital in Israel, and serves as trustee and chief administrator of three private foundations.

Israel (Izzy) Tapoohi

Izzy Tapoohi brings an exceptional level of experience and business acumen to the Bonds organization. He has served as a top executive for Israel’s most prominent companies, including chairman of the board of Africa-Israel Investments and executive chairman of the board of Bezeq, Israel’s telecommunications provider and largest corporation.

Mr. Tapoohi was a member of Prime Minister Netanyahu’s "100 Days" team, helping to prepare economic guidelines to ensure stability in the face of the ongoing global economic crisis.
David Halpern

David Halpern

Vice Chairman, Board of Directors
David Halpern of New Jersey is president of Atlantic Realty. The son of Holocaust survivors, Mr. Halpern was a prominent figure in the Israel Bonds Remembrance Award Dinner, an annual national event perpetuating the memory of the Holocaust and honoring survivors and second generation members. He was co-recipient of the 1998 Remembrance Award.

Mr. Halpern has assumed a leading role with Yad Vashem and, together with his wife Sharon, was presented with Yad Vashem’s Young Leadership Remembrance Award.
Fred Zeidman

Fred Zeidman

Fred Zeidman of Houston is a principal at XRoads Solutions Group, chairman of the board at SulphCo and serves on the board of directors of MegaWest Energy Corporation, Hyperdynamics Corporation and Prosperity Bank.

In March 2002, President George W. Bush appointed Mr. Zeidman chairman of the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Council, a position he held for nine years, making him the first member of the post-Holocaust generation to hold the Council's chairmanship. He is a high-profile leader with numerous national and Houston-based organizations working on behalf of Israel and causes of Jewish concern.
Roberta Goldstein

Roberta Goldstein

Chairman, National Campaign Cabinet
Roberta (Bobbie) Goldstein of Rockland County, New York has held many leadership positions with Israel Bonds throughout more than three decades, including national campaign chairman and national Women’s Division chairman.
 
Mrs. Goldstein has assumed a prominent leadership role with the Israel Project, the Conference of Presidents of Major Jewish Organizations, Reuben Gittelman Hebrew Day School, Solomon Schecter School in Rockland County, and the Rockland Jewish Community Relations Council. She is also a founder of the Israel Tennis Center. Since her first visit to Israel in 1972, Mrs. Goldstein has returned over 50 times and led numerous Bonds delegations.
Howard Goldstein

Howard Goldstein

Vice Chairman, Executive Committee
Howard Goldstein is managing director of Miami-based certified public accounting firm Mallah Furman. He has served in several Israel Bonds leadership capacities, including general chairman of the Greater Miami campaign, national New Leadership chairman and North American New Leadership chairman.

Mr. Goldstein is a member of the board of directors of AIPAC, the Hillel Council of the University of Miami and the Miami branch of the American Jewish Congress.
